I made this body of work this year in response to America finding itself in our darkest hour, in the midst of a racist pandemic, police brutality, complicit GOP politicians further contributing to the most turbulent time in our history that harkens back to the Jim Crow era, or even scarier, a time in human history not unlike the horrors that Hitler inflicted, the atrocious suffering and the murder of more than 6 million human lives making it the largest and gravest transgression against humanity, not unlike the leader of Sierra Leon who was responsible for the murder and total decapitation of his country’s own citizens, which resulted in a guilty verdict at his trial for committing “crimes against humanity” where he was executed for his utter corrupt, murderous, disregard for human life. His odious, evil and viscous cruelty against his own people can only be compared to sadistic dictators, around the globe, both historic and current who Trump admires and constantly seeks the approval of in his nefarious affairs. Additionally, the corrupt, morally, intellectually, complicit and downright dangerous politicians who continue to support his delusional, mentally unstable and utter incompetence, his seditious attempts to incite an angry, murderous, disenfranchised, toxic White male environment of rage and criminality, resulting in the multiple murders and suicides of the Capitol Police who lost their lives at the insistence of Trump’s demand that his MAGA rioters should “be strong” and then murder multiple people in direct response to his delusional demands, insisting the election was unworthy of certification, hence concluding in instructions to hang his own Vice President”, and then kill the fabulous and unbreakable Nancy Pelosi , again perpetrated by his direct orders! He should, along with his corrupt, criminal enterprise that comprises his entire family be found guilty for All of his disgusting criminal conduct, his tax evasion, his threats and bullying members of congress, along with his entire derelict and mostly bankrupt, corrupt foundations and organizations, should not only be prosecuted for all of the above, he should and will be sentenced to many, many years in prison, where he belongs! He should also be prosecuted for heinous crimes against humanity for not only failing on every level to prevent the spread of Covid, instead he was instrumental in spreading it all around the country despite his own prior knowledge that a pandemic like Covid was on serious alert, he failed to even read the reports indicating the horrors that laid in front of us, where we lost over 550,000 human lives, he was complicit in the spread of the virus directly, refusing to wear a mask to try to prove his toxic, compromised masculinity, as a result, with the countless American lives lost, the blood is on his hands, and there’s enough of it have extinguished the size of a typical American city! Furthermore, the blatant racist, sexist and xenophobic actions he not only inspired, instigated and fully supported, instead inspiring an even more venomous, divisive culture of hatred and violence, creating racist divisions directly supported and encouraged by himself and his “compassion” for Neo Nazi and White Supremacist culture, contributing to a deeply broken America, where almost all of us now live in the most deleterious of times, where our mental and physical health is in jeopardy, we are also unfortunately broke, as a result of the pandemic induced recession, loss of jobs, and any income for food, shelter and basic necessities for countless American’s! Trump situated us in a toxic atmospheric and dangerous era, where political affiliation has become so contentious that I fear the America we once knew, perhaps long ago, has come to an end. However, with the advent of the epic, positive BLM movement and the multiracial, positive platform of participants protesting and peacefully resisting, I see a new generation of incredible activism, where all of us are participating to create a better world for our youth, our seniors, our shared humanity, to benefit in the collective efforts to heal our country and its people. Justice will be served when Trump is found guilty on every count he will be charged with, and there will be many including treason, for his role in inspiring a radical platform of domestic terrorism. He may find himself rotting in a prison cell, without a spec of fake gold plated crap where he will be housed with our most dangerous terrorists at Guantanamo Bay for the rest of his filthy, corrupt life, where he will go down in history as the most disgraceful, treasonous, seditionist, racist, incompetent, narcissistic pig that he is! This work I made in response to this unprecedented era addresses the darkness we all found ourselves living through, and should serve as a visual reminder of the nightmare we have all survived, yet our collective healing will be the challenge of many years and multiple generations ahead, but we are a resilient people, and with the soulful, competent multiracial new leaders of our American democracy, I do believe that we will prevail!
